Early Progression Guide
Note: This guide is based on community experience.
Early progression in Dicero is less about finding one perfect build and more about learning when to change direction. If a chapter suddenly feels too hard, the answer is often a mix of weapon choice, upgrade priority, and repeating earlier stages for resources.
Common Early Game Problems
Chapter 4 Stuck
Problem: Players frequently get stuck at Chapter 4.
Solutions from community:
- Switch to Sword for single-target bosses
- Use Hammer for AOE-heavy stages
- Don’t give up after 2-3 failed attempts
Recommended Approach
- Single-target boss stages: Use Sword weapon
- AOE stages: Use Hammer weapon
- Resource management: Run older stages for gold/rolls if stuck
Weapon Selection
- Sword: Single target, good for bosses
- Hammer: AOE, good for mob stages
- Staff: Ranged/magic, specialized use
What to Do Before Changing Builds
Before abandoning a route, check three things:
- Enemy type: If the stage is mostly single-target pressure, try a Sword-focused setup. If waves are the issue, Hammer-style AOE can be more forgiving.
- Upgrade timing: A build may feel weak before its first key upgrade. Do not judge every route after one bad roll.
- Account growth: If you are underpowered, rerunning older stages for gold or rolls can be more efficient than forcing the same wall.
